Yesterday was a great day to celebrate the Dad in our house! The boys got up early with me. (OK, that's not quite correct...I got up early and made them turn off the cartoons.) We made Les his favorite breakfast and the boys all made cards for him. His gifts are on order so he didn't have anything to open. We had to make the most of the homemade cards. He was pleased that each of the cards had a fishing theme to them as he LOVES to fish with the boys.
I love to hear the boys singing their favorite Father's Day songs to Les to "Help" him wake up. It was a really good day.
Les was also a trooper to share his grand day of honor with Grandad Heslop because we were able to have a retirement party for him also. It was a good night with lots of family.
Les, Daddy and Dear...we love you very much and think you are the best Dad in the World!
