We weren't able to go on a camping vacation that we had planned this week for a variety of reasons. We decided to still have Les take the time off and we would just have fun doing things together as a family for a couple of days.
Day 1
We went to the movies, Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Kids loved it, Mom and Dad loved the kids loving it. Then we drove up to the mountains and let the kids play in a river, had a picnic and then went to a dam and fished. The boys loved the entire day and I was filled with an overwhelming sense of peace at spending time with our little family.
Day 2
We went to the Air Force Museum, the boys loved playing in all of the simulators and hands on games. The boys then came home to play a game they had saved for and bought together for the Wii while Mom and Dad went to lunch together. Later, Uncle Tom and Daddy went fishing with Garrett and Carson. Dallen and Hunter played games and I visited with them and read.
It was a great two days. We rarely take time to only do things with just our little family. It was priceless with tons of memories. Perfect.

Dallen's vacation
My brother likes to take Dallen with him when their family goes camping. Why?...because it helps to keep his son Carter entertained. They went for a four day trip over Memorial Day. By the end I was ready to have my little man back, I missed him because no matter how much I joke about them, my boys are my world and my heart belongs to them and their Daddy.
Anyways, the first thing Dallen tells me when he gets back is that he ate a worm. (Not shocked, I have too many boys for that to be my reaction.:)) No, the funny part is that my dear Sister In Law thought that she would have to bribe him to get him to do it. My little angel FLEECED Aunt Mandee for six dollars. Between you and me, I know that he would have done it for a quarter. (Don't tell Aunt Mandee).
