Today I returned to the 'volunteering-three-days-a-week' because I am very very bad at trying to schedule all our teachers on the same day and I am a sucker when a teacher says something along the lines of,..."Mrs. James, we could really use some help with (then fill in the blank)".
Anyways, I am helping in G's class on Mondays now with a reading group. I talked with the teacher a little after I was done and then I went on my merry way. When Garrett came home he came up and said, "Mom, Ms. B thinks that you are a funny person."
Those who know me know that I love to make people laugh and I find this quite the compliment. Now, the reality check...this woman also says that I remind her of the school officer. (Between you and I, the school officer is a nice woman but a little 'butch', I know...naughty me for judging). Clearly Ms. B's perspectives must be taken with a grain of salt. Happy Volunteering!
