Someone, truthfully I don't remember if it was a hometeacher or a member of the bishopric was teasing Carson and asked if he would pull the plug in the font after he was baptized.
Memo:Never plant mischevious ideas in that boy's head, it never ends well.:)
After the baptism Carson, (thank goodness) did NOT try to pull the plug but he did body surf out of the font. (Very proud moment for Mommy when her son is so reverent) However, not one brother spit into the font this time. (Don't judge me.)
Then after Les and the boys spent the entire week working on the lawn to get it ready for a family lunch it rained all day so we moved 49 people into the house with the hope and a prayer that the carpet would survive lunch. Only another mom would be able to understand the stress that accompanies that social activity. All went smoothly, we were able to visit with lots of family and friends and then I took a three hour nap when they all left.
My boys were great! Les was greater! (side note, I have been gone to Women's Conference at BYU until late last night so Les did it all.) My boys behavior was practically appropriate and Carson is pleased that he is currently 'washed clean of any sin'.
Have a great weekend friends!
That day was really fun! I even kept Tom from spilling on your carpet (you have no idea how hard that is with chili in his hands)!!! Dinners at your place are always fun!
