My darling baby has been struggling with the flu. Yes, the dreaded swine flu. (Personally I don't see why it is getting more publicity than just our good old influenza flu, anyway...) It's been a long few days but he has turned a corner and no longer has a fever so now we simply wonder how many coloring pages or rounds of Don't Eat Pete we can both stand! He will be returning tomorrow to his teacher, I'm sure that she misses him and wishes he would hurry back.:)
However, the funniest thing about this whole thing is not Mr. D, but my cute little C. He of course doesn't see the fever, cough, aches etc. He sees that the boy doesn't have to go to church or school. So, yesterday morning I found him rolling around in D's bed trying to get as many germs as possible on himself. If there is true justice in the world, that boy WON'T get sick all winter. I giggled so hard!
