My Sweet Honey spent the day fishing with the two older boys. I got custody of and quality time with the two younger boys. We cleaned, grocery shopped, colored, visited a doctor for one of them...it was a great day. Then Sweet Honey gets home with my other two babies (sunburned from a day of unprotected skin on the ice and snow) and they let me know that he and the oldest one are going to have a 'man movie' in the living room. No problem, it's Lord of the Rings and I've already walked out on that once during my marriage, so it's not a temptation to intrude on Man Time. The younger three boys claim the office for a viewing of one of the Star War movies. (Truly, I don't care which one it was, not one of them interest me no matter how hard I try.)
Now, my options are limited. All TV's are in use. All books are read. So, I did what any mother could do when baned to her room for the night. First, I nap and then I spent the night watching CMT. It's been an awfully long time since I waisted a couple hours watching music videos! Turns out,...I must get a life!
